November and December 2023

Dear Brethren,

Grace and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Here is a quick update about my work for the months of November and December 2023.

ITALY:

The annual Churches of Christ in Northern Italy’s Bible lectureship went on successfully in Verona on 1st November. I was not able to attend though, however, I facilitated the program from here. I prepared the program lineup and mailed it to Italy for printing.  For the first time in many years, Brother Thomas and I stepped aside as speakers just to pave the way for other brethren to speak at the lectureship.

VISITATION:

A brother has relocated from Hannover to Dortmund and has started fellowshipping with the Church in Dusseldorf. We visited him at Dortmund, 41 minutes from where I live at a distance of 48 km on the motorway.

PREMARITAL COUNSELING: 

Brother Nathaniel and Sister Esther are preparing to enter into marriage sometime soon, hence, I have commenced. I have also spoken to the father of Nathaniel at Prestea and Esther’s father in Accra, and they have both given their consent for the union of their children. I have also formed a Marriage Committee of three elderly people comprising of a man and two women. They have also met with the two about their upcoming plans.

TRAVELS:

Sister Sylvia, who works with the UN, was in Dubai for three weeks for the World Environmental Conference.  She has since returned.
