March and April 2024
Dear Brethren,
Grace and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Here is a quick update about my work for the months of March and April, 2024.
LANGUAGE CLASSES:
In order for our young members of the church to have a sense of belonging, I have asked four of our teenagers to teach the German language to members who have recently moved to Germany and do not speak any German. This class is held after worship on the first and third Sundays of every month. These teenagers are serving the Church with lots of joy.
EUROPEAN ANNUAL BIBLE LECTURESHIP:
The European Annual Bible Lectureship took place from the 29th to 31st of March. I arrived in Verona; Italy on the 28th of March. Speakers for the lectureship were brothers Gary Smith (Leicester, UK), Thomas Ofori (Verona, Italy) and myself. I have been the main organizer of the European Annual Bible Lectureship since 2010. I have always helped select and invite the speakers. Sunday the 31st was the first time that I have ever spoken at the event.
VISITATION:
Brother Thompson and Sister Augustina’s two daughters, Georgina, 9 years old, and Alisia, 7 years old, spent the whole day with us on the Saturdays of the 13th and the 27th. They had stayed with us for six months in Italy while Jane was doing a program of study. They came from Sweden for a visit from Monday the 13th to Monday the 27th of February.
NEW MEMBER FROM GHANA:
We have a new member (Brother Grant) from Takoradi, Ghana. Brother Grant is here to do his Master’s at Technische Hochschule Köln (TH Köln University of Applied Sciences) the same University where Brother Derrick is studying.
ANOTHER PREGNANCY:
Sister Esther who got married on 27th January is pregnant by the grace of God. I humbly request that we pray for her as she often gets sick.
TRAVELS:
Brother Clement traveled to Ghana on the 16th of March, He has yet to return. Brother Nathaniel also traveled to Ghana on the 31st of March and returned on the 22nd of April.
FAMILY:
Stella and I are in good physical health. Please continue to pray for us. Until our next Newsletter for
May/June.
Stay Blessed,
Eddie, Stella and Esther Dadzie.
